Socializing: It is very important to socialize your pup from the very start. This will ensure the pup feels comfortable in different situations, around people and other animals. Dogs that are not socialized early and often can become shy and nervous, which can lead to unwanted behavior.
Feeding: Always speak to your vet regarding his/her recommendation for feeding your pup. We feed Purina Pro Plan Large Breed Puppy as they are being weaned and up until they go home to their new families.
Training: We recommend that you find a trainer that understands the breed. Ridgebacks are generally easy to train but can be independent/stubborn and respond well with gentle consistency.
